I am attorney Bruce A. Schonberg, Esq., and I have more than 30 years of legal experience practicing in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense. Before founding the Schonberg Law Offices of the Hudson Valley, I was an Orange County District Attorney for approximately six years. As a prosecutor, I gained extensive experience trying criminal cases and putting evidence before judges and juries. While most legal cases are resolved by negotiation, not litigation, it’s important to select an attorney who is willing and able to try your case to a successful conclusion. I later became an insurance defense lawyer representing the interests of Allstate, Nationwide and State Farm in New York for nine years. As lawyer for these insurance companies, I handled thousands of personal injury claims. As a former insurance defense attorney, I understand what insurance companies are looking for in order to justify a favorable settlement of a personal injury claim. Today, I exclusively represent people injured in car accidents and other personal injury incidents. You have my word that my staff and I will work our hardest to achieve the best outcome and result for your claim.
Lawyers of Distinction shall not offer membership to more than 10% of attorneys in any given state. Lawyers of Distinction uses it own independent criteria, including both objective and subjective factors in determining if an attorney can be recognized as being within the top 10% of attorneys in the United States in their respective field. This designation is based upon the proprietary analysis of the Lawyers of Distinction organization alone, and is not intended to be endorsed by any of the 50 United States Bar Associations or The District of Columbia Bar Association.
